His valiant armor, glistens with the sun,
shows battle dents of wars past won.
The ancient sword hangs apparent at his side,
the ruby in the handle shines as he rides.
Proudly the Knight rides following his destined path,
head held high, stern face look, be weary of his wrath.
His hands hold the reigns loosely it seems,
but commands fully his prestigious steed.
Silver white stallion so proud strong and tall,
carries him on his journey, towering over all.
Aware of his surroundings, ever alert,
knows intuitively what is afoot.
The elements whisper, he listens inside.
The trees embrace him, the animals smile.
"Oh mighty Knight, we watch your safe journey, so be strong,"
the souls of the past, echo into night long.
As a quarter moon lights the path through the trees,
they walk in faith from what has been "seen".
Ledges and crags, sharp, pointy and deep,
the Knight's eyes affix, staring firmly without sleep.
Trusting, the horse, moving slowly he goes,
half circles around boulders and stones.
Blind, the Knight rides on, spirit owl voices the way.
He follows, his faith and hope cannot be swayed.
Darkness breaks with a tinge of faint light,
shadows decrease, "We said you'd be all right!"
At last through the trees, they step with a pause,
the sun's orange light, breaks for his cause.
Eyes wide open, the Knight finally smiles,
the sight of home! after long aweighted miles.
The Castle is home from a forest afar,
a crystal heaven on earth shines by that Star.
His hands on the reigns, they steadily trot,
like silver drum beats, the sun, upon them, is caught.
The Knight's heart is smiling, his face all agrin,
the silver streak slows, the gate!, he enters within.
He falls to his knees, looks and smiles, she meets him there,
she knew he'd return, because of her prayers.
A joyous moment when the tears fall, the sun rays give such a glow
to the crystal paradise of faith, love and hope.
