Kokopelli's Dance by Hanoochi - www.hanochi.com
Embers drift and prance to the sky
Firelight flickers across red rock walls
In the distance flute music calls.
Trancing in gaze, petroglyphs dance,
Humpbacked figures turning and swaying,
Instruments from earth's womb they're playing.
Life is a cycle, the melody echoes,
Kachina dancers from hollow earth,
Kokopelli promises all things rebirth.
In my mind flute music calls,
as firelight flickers across the canyon walls,
sending my heart adrift to the sky.
