He feels all pain that we endure,
the pain we bare is real,
troubled with all the rapid's rocks,
the soul is bruised - will I ever heal?

He catches all the tears we shed
in the palm of loving care,
annoints the angel's wings of love,
they embrace our heart to share.

He hears our words of anguish,
our souls baring all to Him,
eyes of love and kindness,
embraced by All That Is.

Gracious peace He instills,
voice echoes in my mind,
"Peace be still my child,
I am with you all the time."
