"Solitude of Night"
by Hanoochi

Night,
silence,
deafening with stars,
Still, calm, motionless black.

Heart,
cries,
longing for a gentle touch,
Reach inside, no turning back.

Lights above,
glisten,
watching me,
Eons pass, unchanging.

Eyes,
within,
gaze to infinity,
Looks toward love, all perceiving.

Darkness,
comforts,
my soul aglow,
Tranquil silence I feel.

Desires,
beautiful,
streaks the sky,
Love, so deafening, so real.
