"The Subtle Joke"
by Hanoochi

Giddiness of the heart makes me smile big and wide,
Laughter, rings in my ears. From a distance I chuckle, what a funny site!
Shaking my head, in tears. Giggling within, then you smile at me so loud,
I burst out, uncontained.

I grab my sides, ohhh! and double over in pain.

I muster a long deep breath to compose myself,
letting it out so slow. You glance at me with a playful grin, just waiting,
I see the subtle joke. Exploding inside, the bomb shatters and shakes and rolls,
here we go again, ohh!! The laughter touches my soul.
